Top 10 Best Sitcoms on TV Right Now

Believe it or not, but today’s sitcoms can be funny. All to everyone’s surprise, TV is entertaining again. It is probably thanks to the enthusiasm of commercial cable channels. Anyway, we have compiled a list of top 10 funniest and most loved current sitcoms that should not escape your attention.

Here are top 10 funniest sitcoms on TV right now:

10. Bored to Death (HBO)

It is a story of a writer who advertises his private investigative services on Craigslist. The character is trying to do the right things. It is his sincerity and self-obsession that make the series so funny to watch.

9. Nurse Jackie (Showtime)

The main character, an ER nurse, has low morals. She sleeps with the hospital pharmacist and snorts the painkillers. A dream husband and two girls are waiting for her at home. She is empathetic to her patients, but heartless in her family.

8. Parks & Recreation (NBC)

One of the best things I love about this sitcom is its cast. It is great for absolute relaxation and stress release. I never regretted the half an hour once a week I spent on it.

7. How I Met Your Mother (CBS)

A father tells a story of the first encounter with their mother to his two kids. However, trying to get to the point, the father tells numerous stories about other girls he met and dated. After each story kids exclaim: ‘Was she our mother’, but the answer is ‘no’. As one of the main characters, Barney Stinson, says, ‘It is legend…ary’

6. The Office (NBC)

Though there were already six seasons of this sitcom, it is still one of the funniest on TV. Though the romantic tension has already gone, you can enjoy the wonderful humor and the relaxation effect of this show.

5. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX)

This sitcom is shocking and hilarious at the same time. It is overly ironic and amoral in some episodes. It is a story of sociopaths who think they are lovable.

4. Party Down (Starz)

The workers of the catering company are writers, actors and comedians in the past. This fact, however, is unimportant to their clients. This story of hurt egos will make you laugh often.

3. Community (NBC)

This sitcom is a response to pop culture worst things. The authors of this sitcom have probably spent hours watching other shows. The most valuable thing is that they respond to them exactly the way you do.

2. 30 Rock (NBC)

One of the best things about this sitcom is its deep and well-developed characters. The second one is its humor. The audience claims that an average episode of 30 Rock is funnier than nearly any other sitcom.

1.      Modern Family (ABC)

This story of three interconnected families is realistic but fresh to the screen. It is about a teen seduced by popularity and the trying-too-hard-to-be-cool Dad. This sitcom is unique in its complexity, realism and unpredictability.

I’m sure you will love most of the shows on the list. Enjoy!
