At Husky Tech, our mission is to boost students’ technical careers. We are focused on helping students build their soft skills, expand their network, and develop technical skills in that order. During studies, students gain knowledge by learning theory and applying it into practice by means of different types of assignments. Owing to our Mentorship Program, students are connected with qualified industry leaders what helps them make a smooth transition from university to industry life.

We provide an exclusive online platform for industry professionals who can speed up the development of students’ careers in the tech area. Who will be industry professionals? They will be product designers, software engineers, product managers, and entrepreneurs from top companies. Our approach aligns with research-based models of blended mentoring that combine online and in-person counselling to satisfy students demands and help them achieve great outcomes.

Networking Events and Community Building at Husky Tech

Our events focus on networking and expanding the Husky Tech community. Students get an opportunity to find out more about Husky Tech, exchange their ideas, experiences, and interact with the members of Husky Tech community. The events include activities that promote collaboration between students. The executive team makes a strong push to collaboration with one another since, owing to our experience, we know that sometimes all it takes is knowing one person who knows another person and so on.

Mentors are supposed to attend all 3 Mentorship Sessions at the University of Washington and to have bi-Monthly communication with a specific group via email, Skype, phone, or personally.
