This is a review of Harry Potter. The paper briefly examines the Harry Potter series of seven novels. These are a collection of seven fantasy novel based on witchcrafts and wizardry. All the novels are written by Rowling. The books are centered on the Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. The novel is centered on Harry Porter, the main character, and his involvement with Lord Voldemort. The novels are in the order of release: Harry Porter and the Philosopher’s Stone; Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secretes; Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix; Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince; and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It should be noted that all these novels have been acted and are now available (Kirkeby 1).
Harry Porter and the Philosopher’s Stone. This is the first book in the series of the novels. This book informs of the death of the parents of Harry Potter being killed by the greatest dark wizard of all time. He escaped being killed and is taken care of by his relatives who however failed to inform him of his innate wizardry until his eleventh birthday when he was enrolled in the Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. The rest of the books are centered on this school. Each book corresponds to each of the seven academic years that Harry Potter spent at the school finally culminating with the death of Lord Voldemort. At the school Harry Potter realizes that there many mysteries which are protected (Kirkeby 1).
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secretes. This novel shows the friends of Harry Porter at the schools where he is gathering fame and has been admired by human and otherwise. At the school mysterious incidents happen and bring harm to the students leaving the teachers wondering what to do. Harry Potter becomes a target of death (Kirkeby 1).
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Attempts of murder are made Harry Potter’s life. His friends try their best to protect him from being killed. Apart from discovering if the mystery of being at two places at the same time the rest of the novel is troublesome for Harry Potter (Kirkeby 1).
The rest of the novels talks about the struggles that Harry Porter goes through. He tries to discover who is trying to kill him in his forth year. The same year Lord Voldermort resurges and the following year sees the order of the phoenix being re-activated to deal with Lord Voldermort and protect Harry Potter and other targets of Voldermort. The order of phoenix is meant to warn the world of the return of the Voldermore but Dolores who acts as the high inquisitor of Hogwarts. Later Harry Potter discovers that he can watch Voldermore’s actions telepathically. The series climaxes at the point where Harry Potter faces off against the Voldemort’s agent (the death eaters). The order of phoenix arrives in time to capture the death eaters and imprison them.

In the sixth academic year voldemort is even more violent. Harry Potter on his part is doing his best to protect himself. In the last year voldermort has risen to power and is doing the best possible to kill Harry potter however this does not happen. Instead Lord Voldermort kills himself with his own hand. The last novel describes the lives survivors afterwards (Rowling and Grandpre 45).
The series of the novels are quite captivating. They are readable and have a systematic flow. The novels are written with a lot breathtaking events. The novels show a lot of creativity on the part author.
